New Lieutenant Governor pledges to listen and learn
The new Lieutenant Governor says his appointment is an 'honour and a privilege'.
Sir John Lorimer was sworn-in to the role at a ceremony at Castle Rushen this week.
Speaking after taking the oath he said the Island is a 'perfect example' of a nation which has balanced 'change and evolution' with 'tradition and continuity'.
And he pledged to listen, and learn from, the Manx public:
Vote on Castle Rushen High School funding 'very unlikely' before election
Ramsey Commissioners to host public meeting about cottage hospital
DfE provided more than £250,000 to MT to assist with below ground fibre installations
Man given suspended sentence after importing 2kg of cannabis to Island
WCAS reuse garages to reopen on trial basis
