Members vote 20 to three in favour
A loosening of work permit legislation for the Information Comunication and Technology Sector has been agreed.
Tynwald was told this morning (Wednesday Feb 17th) that ICT companies were suffering because suitable staff were not available from the Island.
Chief Minister Allan Bell said he knew of firms that had left because of the shortage.
Members voted 20 for, 3 against in Keys and all in favour in LegCo.
