Police are asking motorists to drive with caution, and say conditions will be monitored - with the possibility of closures if the picture worsens.
Temperatures are expected to hover around freezing this afternoon, and Ronaldsway Met Office has a yellow weather warning in place until early on Sunday morning.
Surfaces above 1,000 feet are expected to turn icy.
