
Zoe Gillings has thanked all her supporters after agonisingly missing out on a place in an Olympic final.
She lost out on a spot in the women’s snowboardcross showpiece in Sochi by the closest of margins.
The Ronague athlete was pipped for third place in her Winter Olympics semi-final by a few inches by Italian Michela Moioli.
In the end, she was ninth overall.
