Investigations into the possibility of introducing a 'social tariff' for internet on the Isle of Man could be undertaken.
That's the view of Douglas Central MHK Ann Corlett who is the political member for the Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority.
In the House of Keys this week she was asked about whether a new tariff – for those on lower incomes – could be introduced to help people impacted by the cost of living crisis.
It was something raised by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
Mrs Corlett said social tariffs came at a cost and stressed it wasn't something the authority could look at in isolation:
