Arrane Son Mannin in Peel this evening
Songwriters will be vying for a chance to represent the Isle of Man on the international stage tonight (7 Jan).
The stage is set for this year's Arrane Son Mannin, or a Song for Man competition, where local bands and singers will perform original songs, written in Manx, to a panel of judges.
The winners will go on to represent the Island with their song at the Pan Celtic Music Festival in Carlow, Ireland this April.
Free to attend, the evening gets underway from 7:30pm at the Masonic Hall in Peel.
