Thousands of potatoes have been washed up on the island's North West beaches.
The mystery spuds have appeared at Ballaugh Cronk, with more spotted at the Lhen, Blue Point and Smeale
Local beach clean leader Bill Dale believes they could have been washed overboard from a ship or possibly the recent heavy rain had washed them into the sea from a nearby field.
But there's no free meal for beachcombers - most of the potatoes are rotten and inedible.
However, local seabirds and other wildlife have been enjoying the unexpected feast.
