Company decides on name out of four shortlisted
The Steam Packet Company has chosen the name for its new vessel - Manxman.
It was out of a shortlist of four, the others' Mona's Isle, Manx Maid and King Orry.
The company says Manxman and King Orry were the two most popular with the public, and they finally came to the decision over the past month.
The new purpose-built ferry is to replace the Ben-my-Chree when it comes into service in 2023.
