Details kept secret until Tynwald consideration
The Steam Packet says it's made an offer to Government for a new Strategic Sea Services Agreement which would help address visitor capacity.
Chief Executive Marc Woodward was speaking after Tynwald approved a new promoter for the TT and Classic TT, with the aim of substantially increasing visitor numbers.
In a statement yesterday, Mr Woodward said the company fully supports the appointment of Vision Nine as new promoter, to develop and grow the events and is hopeful that Tynwald will have the chance to support its proposal within the next few months.
However, no details have been provided at this stage as to exactly what these proposals may involve.
