Cancelled ferry journeys cause chaos for passengers
The Steam Packet says it's trying to help passengers left stranded by ferry service cancellations.
Last night's (Tue) Ben-my-Chree crossings between Douglas and Heysham were called off due to adverse weather on the Lancashire side.
But with the busiest week of the season underway, many of those affected will be unable to sail until Thursday at the earliest.
Talks are underway to arrange an extra sailing to Liverpool that night.
In the meantime, bosses are advising visitors to contact their accommodation providers.
