Favourable situation for those in clearing system
Students whose A level results missed the mark could be in a better position than in recent years - due to a glut of places at UK universities.
It emerged this week there are fewer students overall for an increased number of places - and that could mean those searching for a course in the clearing system are spoilt for choice.
Incentives are also being offered to students by many higher education establishments to ensure places are filled.
