No sweetener for those who criticise the charge
A tax on sugary drinks, announced in the budget last week, serves the Island's best interests.
The view of Director of Public Health Dr Henrietta Ewart, who has welcomed the legislation.
It's an added tax on drinks with a high sugar content, with the aim being to tackle rising obesity in children, according to the government.
Dr Ewart says those who criticise the tax are doing the public a disservice.
