Surveys to improve care for children with 'complex needs'

Questionnaires also address people with autism

Two surveys aiming to improve care for children with complex needs, as well as people with autism, have been launched.

The Department of Health and Social Care is seeking feedback on a number of services.

The two questionnaires are the latest aspect of a wider review into the Island's healthcare.

It follows the Sir Jonathan Michael report from May 2019 calling for a major overhaul of the system.

These surveys come as part of the rollout of the new Manx Care.

Part of that would see services for those with autism, and children with what are being described as 'complex needs', combined.

It's set to "span mental health services, education, acute care and care provided in the community".
