No licences requested
There's been no take up for medicinal cannabis licences by individuals or companies.
The news was prompted by a freedom of information request to the Department of Health and Social Care, asking how many have been issued.
There have been calls for a rethink of laws in the Isle of Man relating to the Class B drug, led by Tynwald members, including; Ramsey MHK, Dr Alex Allinson.
He claims patients are 'terrified' of being prosecuted for using it. Cannabis is already being used to alleviate symptoms of conditions like Multiple Sclerosis.
Police Chief Constable, Gary Roberts, and Home Affairs Minister, Bill Malarkey, also call for a review of the Island's stance on medicinal use in future.
