Retiring Patrick Commissioner wants answers on funding
Retiring Patrick Commissioner David Talbot has expressed concern at the increasing number of jobs carried out by local authorities.
It comes after Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne used devolved power from central government as an incentive to vote in upcoming elections.
But Mr Talbot believes more resources are needed if councillors and commissioners are to take on extra jobs.
He questioned how added responsibilities are funded.
