The prospect of tax rises after the General Election is on the agenda at the latest meeting of the Positive Action Group on Monday evening.
PAG has invited the Island's former Assessor of Tax Mark Solly to speak.
Mr Solly's concerned at the loss of around £2.5 million tax take after the scrapping of ARI, part of the Island's Zero Ten tax system.
He fears a greater burden may fall on the less well-off as the Island seeks to make up the loss.
