
A teacher from Ballakermeen High School is set for an out-of-this-world summer holiday next month, when he joins two students at NASA's space school.
Head of Media Studies Ben Farnworth will jet out to Texas to be with two year 12 students as they learn about space and science in Houston.
He says he is looking forward to the experience and can't wait to be trained by the space agency's astronauts.
However, he will be the only teacher there with a non-scientific background:
