The work will be undertaken between 10 March and 9 May
The Department of Infrastructure has announced temporary speed restrictions on several key routes to facilitate TT preparation work and routine highway maintenance.
From 10 March to 9 May 2025, sections of the A1 Douglas to Peel Road, A3 Ballacraine to Ramsey Road, and A18 Mountain Road will be subject to a temporary 40 mph speed limit.
These restrictions will apply to areas that are ordinarily derestricted or have higher speed limits.
The measures aim to reduce traffic speed to ensure the safety of workers carrying out essential roadworks.
The restrictions will be enforced on a rolling basis, as indicated by signage.
