
The 2007 Bentley Car Rally comes to the Island later today (Friday).
Twenty-five vintage cars – all bar five of which are pre-war - will be on display over the weekend with more than 100 members of the Bentley Drivers Club travelling over.
The event will benefit the Liverpool Cardiothoracic Unit, where a number of Island residents have been treated, including Douglas resident Dennis McAdam, who is one of the organisers.
The vintage Bentleys will be on display at the TT Grandstand from 10 o’clock tomorrow (Saturday) morning after which they will set off on a tour of the Island.
Alan Birchall, chairman of the Mersey Beat Appeal, raising funds to support the centre, hopes the Manx public turns out in force:
