
People who miss hospital appointments could in future be charged for not turning up.
Director of Health Strategy and Performance Norman McGregor Edwards (pictured) says it was an idea raised at the DHSS's recent series of public meetings and will be considered as a solution by the department.
He says it's the percentage missed isn't enormous but still needs to be dealt with somehow:
