A high-profile civil servant in the Isle of Man says he's been given a new lease of life, after surgery helped him lose 22 stone.
Head of the Island's Civil Defence Martin Blackburn dropped from 37 stone to 15 over the course of a year, after undergoing two operations in the United Kingdom.
His maximum weight, two years ago, was 43 stone.
The 45-year-old says it’s made a huge difference to almost every aspect of his life.
But some new problems have been created, as people now have trouble recognising him (play audio file):
