A former rugby player is hoping to set a world record in book signings on Sunday (November 27) when he launches his first novel at the Hospice Christmas fair.
Adrian Bailey wrote the fantasy novel 'Otherworld - Isle of Mist' to raise money for Rebecca House, the chidlren's hospice.
It draws on Manx folklore, history and traditions and tells the story of a magical Island with a strong resemblance to our own!
Although Adrian's funded the Manx editions for the launch, the novel's won the attention of Island firm MP Publishing, which is to publish the book in the UK and America.
Adrian's invited Vagabonds Rugby Club to the launch at the Villa Marina to drum-up support for the record book signing attempt:
The launch and signing session is in the Promenade Suite at the Villa Marina at 5pm on Sunday.
