
Three men were arrested in Preston this morning in connection with an incident in which a 26 year old Manxman received serious injuries.
Alex Messenger, a former Rushen United footballer and son of former Port St Mary commissioner Harry Messenger, was attacked in the city in the early hours of September 26.
He remains in hospital in Preston.
