Work is ongoing to secure Bay View Road in Port St Mary, following Monday evening's landslide.
It's estimated at the moment the affected section will be closed for at least a week.
Over 50 tonnes of earth slipped out and rolled down Happy Valley, leaving a three metre void under the road and pavement.
The Department of Transport's director of works Jeff Robinson says repair work will be carried out in three phases:

'Too early to tell' what caused fire
Firefighting foam may have killed fish in Silverburn River
Additional road closure for TT filming ahead of MGP qualifying
'Knives and sharp implements' left outside charity shops
