A member of the Island's Public Health Directorate says he fully backs calls in Britain for more to be done to combat obesity.
Consultant Dr Paul Emerson says the issue will soon overtake smoking as the biggest challenge to public health.
The chairman of the National Obesity Forum in Britain is demanding the introduction of hard-hitting campaigns to try and tackle the ever-worsening problem.
