
It's time for an update of the Tynwald ceremony.
That's the belief of government minister Phil Gawne.
Speaking on Sunday Opinion, Mr Gawne said he didn't believe the ceremony itself was important to most people on the Island and politicians needed to be better connected with the public to help them understand "what they were about"
He believes those attending the national day ceremony should be more engaged in the proceedings.
