Ambulance Service organises Island-wide treasure hunt
It’s time to ‘open the eyes of the Manx public’ to the lifesaving equipment ‘hiding in plain sight’.
That’s from the Isle of Man Ambulance Service which has launched ‘The Great Manx Defib Hunt’.
The Island-wide treasure hunt is designed to raise awareness of the location of public access defibrillators which can be used if someone goes into cardiac arrest.

Out of hospital cardiac arrests have a survival rate of less than 10 percent.
Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation has assisted with the rollout of many of the defibrillators located around the Island.
The treasure hunt will start on 31 August and will close on 30 September.
