Movement of goods between NI and UK discussed in Keys
The treasury minister says it's “too early” to give details about future customs checks, in the fallout of the UK’s departure from the EU.
Alf Cannan was answering questions from Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper in the House of Keys on Tuesday.
Mr Hooper wanted a progress update on plans to police the Island’s borders in the future.
Discussing the movement of goods between Northern Ireland and the UK in particular, Mr Cannan was reluctant to disclose further information at this stage:
