Memories wanted as era ends
Former pupils of two schools in Douglas are being invited to take a walk down memory lane next week.
Henry Bloom Noble Primary School is inviting the community to visit its two sites in the capital, to gather memories before the move to a brand new school in September.
Daily tours will be held between 1 and 3pm each afternoon from next Monday (25 April) with an additional evening opening on Wednesday between 5 and 8pm.
Head teacher Ian Walmsley says school records dating back 100 years along with many photos will be on view, and past pupils, parents and teachers are invited to share their memories.
Henry Bloom Noble School or HBN as it's known, is made up of the former Ballacloan Infants (Demesne Road) and Fairfield Junior (Tynwald Street) schools - adopting its new name ahead of the £9 million facility's opening in the autumn.
