Attempt to shake stigma of those with HIV
Shaking the stigma attached to people with AIDS and HIV is the focus of this year's World AIDS Day (Tuesday, Dec 1).
The Isle of Man HIV support group has announced a number of people and places will be showing their support this year by 'lighting the town red'.
Government offices, the Tower of Refuge, Ramsey Swing Bridge and the Douglas power station are just some of the landmarks that will turn on red flood lights to support the cause.
Tony Watterson is from the Island's HIV support group, and says the annual event is hugely important:
