Alfred Cannan discusses Arcadia collapse
The Treasury Minister says we must not become complacent, as future economic trouble may still hit the Manx highstreet.
Alf Cannan was speaking as the retail group Arcadia, owners of Topshop and Dorothy Perkins, has gone into administration.
More than 13,000 jobs in the UK are at risk, and it's not yet been made clear what will happen to Island stores.
Mr Cannan says whilst we've fared well so far, it's unlikely to stay that way:
