32-year-old enters not guilty pleas
A Douglas man will stand trial after denying making indecent images of children.
The 32-year-old, who can’t be identified for legal reasons, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
He denied four offences of making 44 still images, between June 2006 and March 2024, and two offences of possessing images between July 2023 and March this year.
Committal proceedings – where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery – will take place on 5 September.
He’s been bailed until that date.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 5 September the man was committed to stand trial at the Court of General Gaol Delivery. He will next appear there on a date to be set.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 21 March 2025 the man denied 18 offences of possessing or making indecent photographs of children. A five-day trial is due to start on 1 December 2025.
