28-year-old denies committing offence
A Ramsey man will stand trial after being accused of pushing another man’s head into a fire pit which contained hot ash.
Jordan John Butler, of North Shore Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
The 28-year-old denies an offence of assault causing actual bodily harm which allegedly took place at a property on Bride Road in the early hours of 7 April.
Committal proceedings – where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery – will take place on 21 September; he’s been bailed until that date.
