Cycle lane and improved pedestrian access being mooted
Plans to transform Tromode Road could encourage more people to leave their cars at home.
That's the hope of the Department of Infrastructure which has earmarked the route for redevelopment next year.
A planning application will be submitted this month before a funding bid is made – if successful a cycle lane would be installed and pedestrian access would be improved.
A public meeting was held earlier this week and a second meeting, again at Cronkbourne Cricket Club, will take place on 20 July between 7pm and 9pm.
