Education Minister to be quizzed in Tynwald
The education minister will be pressed in Tynwald next week on what he's doing to ensure children in care don't play truant.
It emerged in August around 12 frequently fail to attend school.
North Douglas MHK David Ashford now wants assurances the government is doing all it can to address the issue.
But he says he's not criticising schools on the Island.
