Post TT meetings with Bushys Boss
This year's TT was 'challenging'.
That's the belief of Minister for Enterprise Laurence Skelly.
Speaking on this morning's Mandate programme, he paid tribute to the work of Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson and his team, in allowing as much racing as possible to take place, with the minimum of disruption, despite very poor weather over the fortnight.
Mr Skelly rejected the suggestion that the Bottleneck car park - formally a centre of activities for thousands of TT fans - was a mess this year, and said they would be having talks with the head of Bushy's Brewery Martin Brunnscheweiler, who has commented on the huge overheads involved in his TT set-up:
Tributes paid to cancer awareness campaigner
Police bail for two people arrested in Ramsey incident
WCAS to extend opening hours next month
Government support for two 'long-stalled' Douglas developments
Assisted Dying Bill still on track, says mover
