German rider missed last year's event due to injury
TT competitor, David Datzer remains hopeful of making a return to the Snaefell Mountain Course this year after missing out on last year's event.
The German rider is due to join Brian McCormack in the Roadhouse Macau team when the racing fortnight returns in just under three months' time.
In May last year, Datzer was involved in a crash at the Stare Mesto races in the Czech Republic where he suffered some serious injuries.
Since then he's recovered to return to racing and tells the Startline Podcast that whilst physically there's still work to do, mentally he's feeling fit to take up the TT challenge once again:
