New deal means races could be broadcast live
The Enterprise Minister says a wealth of new opportunities could soon be available for publicising, promoting and broadcasting the Isle of Man TT to global audiences.
Laurence Skelly was speaking after his department confirmed a 12-month agreement had been made with two international media organisations, to help develop new coverage projects for the event.
US-based Pilgrim Media Group and Digital Circus will form a joint venture, working towards a list of proposals, including potentially broadcasting the races live, worldwide, for the first time.
Mr Skelly says the possibilities are wide-ranging:
