Small boat in difficulty seaward side of Victoria Pier
Douglas lifeboat went to the rescue of two people in a small rubber dinghy yesterday.
The RNLI was called after a member of the public spotted the boat in trouble near the Tower of Refuge.
It happened at about 7.30pm last night.
The Marine Engineer lifeboat was quickly on the scene, where it retrieved both passengers, who were not injured.
The dinghy was safely towed back to Douglas harbour.
