
Tynwald has approved funding for the construction of new sports pitches on the outskirts of Douglas.
A sum of £1.9 million will be spent on the facilities at Ballafletcher in Braddan, and they will be used by Corinthians and Douglas Royal football clubs, and Vagabonds rugby club.
