There's a new attempt to reduce the sale of alcohol to underage people in the Isle of Man.
Under the 'Challenge 25' initiative, participating retailers will require everybody in the 18 to 25 age group to carry photographic proof of identification, if they wish to purchase alcohol.
Up to now the upper limit has been 21.
Behind the project is Offwatch, a committee of off-licence retailers, including shops and petrol stations.
Chairman Peter Whittaker says it's often hard to judge the age of a customer (play audio file):
The wording on the red card in the photograph says: Under 25? Please be prepared to show proof of age when buying alcohol.
