An Onchan MHK will quiz Trade and Industry Minister David Cretney about unemployment during Tuesday’s House of Keys sitting.
David Quirk wants the minister to make a statement about what the DTI does to help people get back into work, and how it helps employers find the right people to recruit.
Mr Quirk (pictured) says the Island doesn’t have a problem with unemployment at the moment, but that might change in harder economic times.
He says he’s seeking reassurances from Mr Cretney:

Immigration changes designed to stop exploitation by 'bad eggs'
Plantation wood, telegraph poles and Satnav to be discussed in the House of Keys
Contingency budget for horse tram tracks 'significantly increased'
MHK to seek re-election in Arbory, Castletown and Malew
