No service between midnight and 8am
The Manx Emergency Doctor Service will close at midnight due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’.
Manx Care hasn’t explained what they are but says between 12am and 8am on Tuesday (5 September) people who would have used MEDS should go to the Emergency Department at Noble's Hospital instead.
Those who are experiencing an emergency should call 999 and those who can wait should call their own GP in the morning.
Anyone who calls MEDS during the period of closure will be diverted to the switchboard at Noble’s Hospital.
