The Public Services Commission has formally set out a series of 2% increases
The Isle of Man's Public Services Commission has put forward a new pay offer for the next three financial years.
Public and civil servants would expect to be taking home a 2-percent increase for the current financial year, further increasing by 2-percent over the following two years.
However, for the 2026/27 period, the increase would be subject to further negotiation if March 2026's consumer inflation is "1-percent higher or lower than 2-percent".
Although inflation is at a three-year-low, the current year's pay offer is below inflation which a trade union is labelling 'totally unacceptable'.
Prospect represents government workers and secured a 6-percent increase for civil servants in October 2023 for the 2023/24 financial year.
