Retired union members will gather next week to discuss issues facing the Island as the general election looms on the horizon.
The meeting will take place at UNITE’s headquarters in Fort Street, Douglas, on Wednesday at 2pm.
It’s the first in a series of events designed to give union members the chance to quiz politicians about their views on how the Island should be run.
Steve Salter, regional industrial organiser for UNITE, says the aim is to give people enough information to vote wisely next year.
