A trades union organiser is appealing to Department of Education staff not to sign up to new job descriptions without consulting their union first.
Mick Hewer of Unite says some manual workers in the department have been re-graded and had their duties changed under an ongoing internal review.
He says many are upset about the changes to their pay scales and jobs, which have been carried out without consultation, and his message to anybody affected is simple:
