All students to receive 50p piece
Everyone in full-time education on the Isle of Man is set to receive a specially-minted coin each, to mark the centenary of Armistice Day and the end of the First World War.
Treasury has commissioned the production of 50 pence pieces, featuring red poppies.
They'll also show images of the soldier from the Douglas WWI memorial, with the words 'their name liveth for evermore' and the dates 1914-1918.
Cupro-Nickel versions of these coins, without the red poppies around the edges, will be placed into general circulation.
