Dispute over Braddan Commissioners' new community centre continues
Vehicle access to a new community centre in Braddan is due to be stopped today (4 March).
Restrictions will be put into place near ‘The Roundhouse’ which is currently only accessible through the hospital grounds.
Last month the Department of Health and Social Care issued a 28-day notice to Braddan Commissioners saying the health and safety of people using the hospital was its ‘primary concern’.
It added that measures put forward by Braddan were not considered ‘rigorous enough’ to provide proper safeguards or alleviate issues.
Speaking live on Manx Radio Breakfast, John Moss visited the site to speak with some members of the Commissioners:
