2018 Parish Walk is go
The 2018 Manx Telecom Parish Walk is officially underway.
More than 1,300 walkers set off from the National Sports Centre in Douglas at 8am sharp.
They have a tough day ahead - with just one in ten expected to complete the full 85 miles within the 24 hour limit.
But it is about much more than that for the majority of participants, a great many of whom are taking part in the gruelling slog for charity or personal reasons.
Timings are recorded as walkers clock in at 17 checkpoints around the Island.
You can follow the timings live at parishwalk.com.
