The chairman of a new government body, set up to oversee the preservation of war memorials in the Isle of Man, says it's vital they remain a fitting tribute to the sacrifices made.
The Preservation of War Memorials Committee will develop databases of memorials and graves and submit an annual report to the Council of Ministers.
